Art has a unique way of telling stories that words cannot fully express—especially for young minds navigating identity, culture, and imagination. Faraway Lands, Hometown Longings is a youth arts initiative that brings these stories to life through creativity and expression.

Taking place in August 2026, this event combines the excitement of an international painting competition with the immersive experience of a curated art exhibition. Designed for participants aged 4 to 16, it offers young artists a valuable opportunity to showcase their work in a public, in-person setting.

At its core, the program is centered on multicultural values and cross-cultural understanding. Through their artworks, participants are encouraged to explore themes of home, identity, and belonging—reflecting both their personal experiences and diverse cultural backgrounds.
